After discovering his passion for Journalism back in 2016, Seth Cano was granted the precious opportunity the following year of being apart of his high-school newspaper staff. After a few months, he became Entertainment Editor, working at the inspiration of his sponsor. Following that, in the fall of 2018, Seth became the Editor-In-Chief. This was a learning experience for him, but one he has not regret. It taught him the essentials of managing a journalistic outlet, and he continues to use the invaluable tools learned in his other daily life tasks.
Seth Cano’s tasks for the PHS Pony Express have ranged from: Coordinating tasks amongst Editors, Writing entertainment stories for the Richardson/Dallas student area, managing advertisement sales, spearheading the public relations efforts, recruiting staffers, proofing / editing the newspaper in InDesign, and managing the newspaper’s social media pages.
